A Few Words With ED MORRIS

Bensalem, Pennsylvania

The following is an unsolicited e-Mail from Ed Morris who purchased Ryan Edward’s Viper-Blue Rodster Street Rod:

Hi Henry. .. Yep, that’s me. I made a few changes since I bought it. I put a nice set of rims and tires on it, changed the seats to a set of Recaro seats and added a center console. I put a killer 800-watt Stereo System in it and a rear view mirror with lights built in it, and I changed the steering wheel to a Cavalier wheel <(nice touch). I’ve already purchased a tune-port 5.7 (350) and a 700R4 trans. for it. I just acquired a wiring harness and computer. I have to get a set of headers and a set of motor mounts then I’ll be set to do the motor swap this Spring. Any suggestions on the brand of headers I should buy? I’m looking for an exhaust that will make it easy to get to the spark plugs. I have to tell ya, I’ve had ‘67 to ‘69 Camaros, vintage Corvettes, Chevelles, but this little Rodster tops them all! I really like this little car! I’ve always been a rag top man (convertible) so this car fits right in with the type of cars I like. This car gets so much attention that it becomes a pain in the butt sometimes. I find myself trying to ignore people if I don’t have the time to stop and answer their questions. It’s the BEST of both worlds, it gives you the uniqueness of having something different from everyone else and it also gives you peace of mind knowing that you are driving a reliable car! (a GM based car). My wife and I love it! Don’t forget to keep me posted if you hear of a custom dash.
Thanks, Ed Morris

HELLO ED,

OOPS!, forgot you were the guy who bought Ryan Edward's Rodster Street Rod (something happens to the brain when you get up at 5:30am every morning to answer the numerous e-Mails . . .). Anyhow, I'll let you know if I hear anything about custom dashes for S-10s.

BEST – Henry
