ATTENTION/WARNING:

The installation instructions contained in the Rodster Street Rod step-by-step assembly manual must be followed carefully, completely, and in proper sequence.

Rodster Street Rods are only offered as “body kits” that customers chose to install on their used Chevrolet S-10 Blazers and GMC S-15 Jimmys (a.k.a.: Sport Utility Vehicles [SUV]), or on their used Chevrolet S-10 Pickup Trucks and GMC S-15 Sonoma Pickup Trucks. (General Motors Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), produced 2.4 million of these trucks during 1982 to 1994).

By cutting the roof off of your Chevrolet S10 Blazer SUV, GMC S15 Jimmy donor SUV, Chevrolet S-10 Pickup Trucks, or GMC S-15 Sonoma Pickup Trucks you are creating a convertible and compromising the original vehicle’s design and engineering; therefore you do not have the same protection from physical injury in the case of an accident. Also, such a “convertible” inherently lacks the rollover protection of the original “hard top.”

The Rodster® Street Rod styling hoop is not designed to, nor intended to, and specifically DOES NOT OFFER ROLL OVER PROTECTION. Further, because the Rodster Street Rod is built on a donor vehicle that is a truck, it will not comply with all U. S. Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) safety standards for automobiles. Additionally, by removing bumpers, making the necessary cuts, and by altering the general body configuration, you are, by definition, modifying the engineering integrity of the OEM host donor SUV. Proper seat-belt attachments and configurations (whether 2-point or 3-point), are the sole responsibility of the owner. If a Rodster Street Rod is to be operated on public roads, the owner also assumes responsibility for all necessary additional safety measures, whether required or advisable (such as a high-mounted stoplight (hmsl), 6-point frame-mounted roll cage, seat belts, bumpers, external gas filler, metal battery box, etc.). Thus, you are advised of the additional risk that the installation of a Rodster Street Rod body conversion kit exposes you and your passengers to.

THE MANUFACTURER AND DISTRIBUTOR OF THIS PRODUCT ARE IN NO WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSUMER’S FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE WARNINGS AND DIRECTIONS OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RODSTER STREET ROD STEP-BY-STEP ASSEMBLY MANUAL. IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE TO THE CONSUMER'S VEHICLE, OTHER PROPERTIES, AND PERSONAL INJURY, THE INSTALLER AND/OR OWNER OF THE VEHICLE ACCEPT ALL LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFY AND HOLD RODSTER, INC. (a defunct Corporation), CAROSELLI DESIGN, OR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES HARMLESS FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.

Caroselli Design is not affiliated with General Motors Corporation, the holder of the trademarks for Chevrolet, Chevy, GMC, Blazer, Jimmy, and Typhoon.
